August Ipsy is here!
While I didn’t redeem any points this month, I did add-on some great products! Overall I was happy with the items in this month’s bag, there’s only one thing item I won’t be using, can you guess what it is? …Scroll down to find out.
Let’s start with the add-ons, ELF Skincare Suntouchable primer (full-size) and a deluxe sample size of Benefit’s newest mascara FanFest. Both products are great, I would be inclined to repurchase the SPF primer, and I while I do like the FanFest and would buy it full size, I Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk still holds top spot for me.
Each month I get the chance to make a selection, this time around I chose Saturday Skin’s Wide Awake eye serum while I’ve been using daily since getting the bag.
Pleasantly surprising items from the this month’s bag was Dewy Blush from Ciaté and Lottie London’s Quad Eyeshadow — the matte pink in particular is a gorgeous rose colour.
The final two products include Dew of The Gods Watermelon Toning Water & Half Caked Liquid Lipstick in Supreme. One I use daily and the other is still in it’s packaging, have you guessed yet?
Back in May I received Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Mist Toner and have been using it almost daily, this month I was given Dew of the Gods Watermelon toner and I have been travelling with it and using it daily.
It’s the Half Caked Liquid Lipstick that is getting tossed into the makeup graveyard/beauty gift box. Looking back on the past couple of months here’s what has found it’s way into the graveyard, it’s been a few month’s since we’ve done one of these so here’s the round up since February.
February: GEORGETTE KLINGER- Rose Clarifying Toner & GROWN ALCHEMIST - Regenerating Night Cream (gifted to mum), MAKE UP FOR EVER, Rouge Artist For Ever Matte 24HR & TOO FACED Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara (haven’t used yet).
March: GLOW ON 5TH - Pore-Fect Detoxifying Mud Mask & GROWN ALCHEMIST - Age-Repair Intensive Moisturizer White Tea, Phyto-Peptide (gifted to mum).
April: BILLION DOLLAR BROWS - Mini Micro Pencil in Taupe (wrong shade, re-gifted), SHAINA B MIAMI B. Free Eyeshadow Duo, GROWN ALCHEMIST Hand Cream: Vanilla + Orange Peel (gifted to mum).
May: REDUIT - Réduit Boost in Lavender Calm (bit gimicky), SKIN INC - Body Sculpt Fit Serum (formula’s a bit sticky).
